Control the entries your survey can receive and limit how and who you capture data from.
1. Maximum number of attempts per user: After enabling this option, you can manage the attempts count per user for taking the survey.
- Detect users by: Choose the method of user detection:
By IP – Detect the users by their IP addresses and limit them. This will work both for guests and registered users. Note: in general, IP is not a static variable, it is constantly changing when the users change their location/ WIFI/ Internet provider.
By Cookie – Detect the users by their browser cookies and limit them. This will work both for guests and registered users.
By IP and Cookie – Detect the users both by their browser cookies and IP addresses and limit them. It will work both for guests and registered users. - Attempts count (Pro): Specify the count of the attempts per user for taking the survey.
- Message: Write the message for those survey takers who have already passed the survey under the given conditions.
- Redirect URL: Specify the URL for redirection.
- Redirect delay(s): Choose the delay on the redirect in seconds. If you set it 0, the redirection will be disabled.
2. Password for passing survey (Pro): Provide the users with a password for taking the survey.
- General:
- Password: Specify the password for the users who can take the survey.
- Message: Write the message for users who must fill in the password for taking this survey.
- Generated Passwords:
- Passwords Count: Type down your preferred number for generated passwords and click Create. After that you will see the passwords below in a list. You need to click the small icons near the passwords in order to make them active. You can see active and used passwords in a list too.
3. Max count of takers: Choose how many users can participate in the survey.
- Count: Indicate the number of users who can participate in the survey.
4. Block by Country: After enabling this option, the given survey will not be available in the selected countries.
